Bangkok also has a great park called Saranrom Park, across from the Grand Palace. It’s a lush garden and a great place to relax, with a lake, greenhouses and many ancient trees.
Sukhumvit is the center of modern Bangkok and its most important road, Sukhumvit Road, is the main shopping street of the city. It offers many great malls, such as Central World Plaza, Gaysorn Plaza and the Emporium Shopping Center. Siam Square is also worth a visit.
