Greenbookings has developed a calculation model for compensating CO₂ emissions: our Carbon Compensation Program (CCP). To calculate the emission of CO₂ and other greenhouse gases Greenbookings divides your booking into different travel products such as an overnight stay, car rental, flight, insurance etc. Per travel product the emission of greenhouse gases will be calculated.

The total emission of CO₂ and other Greenhouse gases of your booking is then added up and subsequently compensated by Greenbookings. So when making a booking at Greenbookings you don't only get the best deal but you are also contributing to a better environment.

Greenbookings has developed an unique compensation program. With this program a calculation is made of exactly how much CO₂ is emitted by the components of your holiday. This emission is then compensated for you, without any extra charge. Greenbookings is of the opinion that the worldwide emission of greenhouse gases, which is caused for a great part by the travel industry, should be dealt with. Together with your help we want try and not just compensate emission of greenhouse gases but also reduce this emission.
